Reflection

Wow, it's already the end of our freshman year, this time of the year always gets me reflecting on my weaknesses, strengths, where I could have improved but most of all, my accomplishments. I remember first day of class (Freshman Inquiry) getting into it I didn't know what to expect, the only reason I signed up for it was because all of the other classes were full, but does this mean I regret taking Meaning and Madness? Certainly not. Freshman Inquiry did turn out to be helpful, not only in preparing me for any further UNST courses, but also to survive the College life. look back at this year and out of all the other classes this is the one class I felt comfortable in, the classroom environment was comfortable, everyone was able to talk openly on a particular subject, the small group discussions were awesome. Even if we didn't get the chance to talk in the large group, our voices were heard in the much smaller ones. I grew as a person. I enjoyed working with a small crowd and it was easy to get along with them as well. Third term we didn't have as many readings as the previous terms but we had bigger class projects. The projects helped us communicate with our group members and our community members, it was a great learning experience. For the readings that were assigned we posted our thoughts/discussion on WebCT, this way EVERYONE got the chance to post their thoughts on certain topics. The feedback received from our peers was nice also, they shared their opinions and at the same time contributed to our learning experience.
As for the assignments this term, most of what we did was on WebCT and all of those assignments can be viewed here (on-line) under specific categories of the UNST goals. The rest of my accomplishments follow the same order.

~Enjoy!
