1. Explain why the author concludes that chondrules represent a disequilibrium state. To the extent this is true, thermodynamic calculations cannot be used to constrain the formation of chondrules. What processes could have occurred that would alter the author's conclusion and allow chondrules to represent more of an equilibrium state?
