Vertical  nano-wire transistor
 

Our nano-wire transistor is a vertical field effect transistor with a smallest diameter of ~50nm. The device is embedded in flexible polymer foil. Applications include smart skin devices for electronic sensing (collaboration with J. Chen and R. Engelhardt).
Polymer foil-template for nano-wire growth.	Semiconducor wires of 110  nm diameter grown  in   a template process. These wires constitute the transistor channel.
