Yeh Lab

Welcome to the Yeh Lab

We use fundamental evolutionary principles to investigate human impacts on other organisms, with most of our work focusing primarily on birds and bacteria in urban environments. We are particularly interested in questions at the intersection of ecology and evolution, and public health. We use a combination of field work, lab experiments, and theory to examine how urban environments affect the ecology and evolution of bird species, how birds pick up and spread resistant bacteria, and how drug-resistance evolves in bacteria. With our focus on urban habitats and human-mediated effects, our lab is also associated with Portland State University's Institute for Sustainable Solutions.

Please take a look at our lab website, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions or would like to join the lab.
