Our Projects

HALE MANA:

Ulupalakua Upcountry

We would like to invite you to follow us in our journey to find a place where people can come to find ALOHA within themselves. We all have skills that we could share with others, and we feel that we can do so in this place of peace and tranquility...Hale Mana. Because so many people carry much pilikia (trouble) deep within, at Hale Mana those who wish to heal themselves may have that opportunity. A place of a spiritual and physical healing center in which people from all healing discilplines may come to share their gifts with those who are seeking help. Since all gifts come from Akua, (God), it is within each of us to offer these gifts freely to each other, let us all become a mechanism in which these gifts may be shared with humanity.

Hale Mana is only a vision in materialization. But, we believe in this vision and want it to become true for the sake of those who need help and healing. You can be a part of its generation, your help would be greatly appreciated, be it knowledge, time, services or donations to our building and construction efforts. We extend our Aloha Nui to all who participate in these efforts to promote the brotherhood of mankind.

HERB RANCH

Waikii

Another goal that Na Kanaka Maoli Foundation is working on is to develop a working farm in order to provide sustaining income for Hale Mana. The Herb Ranch will be run by volunteers and residents of Hale Mana. Since it takes many hands to operate a ranch, we will welcome all who come with good mana (inner energy) to help us restore balance to the 'aina (land). We plan to raise organically grown crops for local distribution and farmer co-op participation. Make this your project, become part of Kanaka Maoli Foundation. Humanity needs your helping hand. You can help with your knowledge, time, services or donations.

LA'AU LAPA'AU PRESERVATION:

Waipio Valley

Medicinal herbs once abundant in Hawai'i, are becoming increasingly scarce, due to major land development of coastal areas, introduced weeds and animals. A Twenty-acre preservation reserve facility will be a major focus of Na Kanaka Maoli Foundation, the parent organization of Hale Mana. This program is solely dependent on nonprofit grants and philanthropy. We extend to all, a call for assistance in our efforts to preserve these endangered plants for humanity. Spread the word across this great country of ours, New York to California and on to Hawaii, we welcome all help and inquiries.
