Photo album #7
China 2005
Forest at lower altitude
Collecting companions:
Liang and his natural elegance
Tang busy digesting his last night
Dave enjoying the 2 minutes of sunshine
and Jin, the smiling gentleman
My hand got the color of my glove because of the rain... Ideal to wave airplanes
High altitude habitat
Collecting spots everywhere!
That species of frog is rarely seen in this region (frog, Quebec, got it?)
Another great moment: the famous sha lah night. We passed this social test with flying colors, but I don t recall how its spelled...
Our daily ride
Pierre is in Burma, but he left his bobette pack in China. What a drama!
Burma/China border for lunch
On that day, we could finally see what we had in our backyard
Home of the wets
After some time, you forget that you are in high altitude... and then, a few clouds come along to remind you
Our favorite restaurant. Delicious, all the time (we were eating all the time)
Two logging trucks from Burma, along with my favorite bus driver! These trucks cross the border to sell wood in China, many many trucks per day. When you see that, you realize how insignificant environmental problems are in Asia compare to those reported by the North American Association Against Rock Flipping
