Monday Letter 3
Dear Jamie,
How was your weekend? My weekend went well. On Sunday I had to go to my cousin’s house.  We were celebrating of my cousin’s new house. For our tradition, having new house, car, special occasion, someone passed just away, or someone just get marry, the monks would come to cheer us up and to give us a happy life. That was kind of nice because even though we are here, in America, we still keep our own culture. You should have gone to my cousin’s house too.  So you will see how Cambodian people keep our own culture through the monks.

Now that I had talk to you on April 17 2002, I feel so much confidence on my project.  So I will do my project on Cambodian Soft Music during the war with Khmer Rough. I have not have time to go to the library to check out book yet, but today I will do that at 2:00 pm after my Statistic class done.

For the group project, my group and I have not decided what area of Portland we going to do.  But for today in class we have to know what exactly we are going to do, that was what Rebecca told us.  When we are tour to a particular place that we will work on, we are going to be stay with the group.  We do not want to spilt us as two group because we thought that stay together could help us to decide what should be include. Also there is no rush to this project, but we know that we have to our deadline for the project is due.

Sincerely,

Perry
