Native American Art & Politics

Native American were created, they put thoughts, idea into the painting picture called art.  The word “art” to them have a strong meaning because they always can put their mind and feeling expressing into it.  This could be related to the movie “Where the Blues Began”, instead of say out loud of what they were depresses or happy about, they up it into the songs.  It could made them release of the stressfulness of the white had done to them.  For this article, when the art and craft law passed, Native American would have a place where all of the Native American artistic to show their painting.

Everyone have to show that they are at least 25% Indian blood, so they would have the chance to get money and to sale or called their painting as Indian painting.  They have to have a generation of the blood Indian, but as for themselves they have to prove that they have at least had the blood of Indian or with the relationship with the Indian.  Native American during that time were so popular with the drawing and painting, so everyone wish to be an Indian, so they can sale their painting in a higher price.  Not just only a higher price, they also had the promotions that Indian painting were interested.  But some of them could sale their product in there own store, they do not have to put their product into where the entire Indian sale their art stuff.

Personally, art and crafts are having the same meaning and they share the same common.  Art is what you paint, crafts is what you do by hands.  Art also are make from men made.  Art and crafts, show their perspective of the feeling that they put into the picture and the result of the finished product.  If you were looking at the crafts or art, you will have the same common to it. Art work should be products of a Native American culture because everything is shown with the culture of what people believing in.  Everything has its own culture and perspective, so does the art.
