"Implications of Feminist Critique of Science for the Teaching
of Mathematic and Science."

Science and math play in different roles in the society and educational system. They also have different theories. Science has the science model that ignores the race, gender, and class in order to learn other perspectives.  It requires law and theory to find out about what is happening to matters in the environment.  The study of science is based on the cause and effect, and the evolution of the world from time to time.  Anything that a scientist or people discovered is depended on their observations; there is no right or wrong for the results.

Along with science, math is the study that involves with the language of science.  Even though they are somehow related but their points are mostly different and have opposite purposes.  Solving a math problem, given is stated before the theory can be constructed.  Math is also followed the formalize reason; it is not depending on any people's observation.  A math problem can be solved in different formats but it must have the same result, another word, they must have the same answer.  The answer must be corrected in the form of right and wrong.  For example 2 plus 2 is equal to 4, then 4 is the right answer of this problem.

Science, in the other hand does not have the right or wrong answer.  Let say, the color of green is made of yellow and blue.  Some observations result with the color does not look green, this because they do not mix the same amount of each color together.  So it is depended on how people work on the experiment.  The study of science and math has different goals.  Science is studied the evolution of the world that is different from a religious belief and the changes of matters that are based on the observation of individuals or a group of people.  Math is learned for the following goals.  Social goal; we can use math in daily life, not only in school.  Learning math for cultural goal is relating to the shared knowledge and values of a society or the ways of living built up by a group of people.
Learning math is also for personal goal, it means for individual or in particular person's purpose and life.  The last goal of learning math is esthetic goal.  It means to understand a philosophical theory as to what is beautiful or what is right.
