The idea of Logocentrism is the thought, truth, reason and logic.
    According to Rodriquez’s idea as the scholarship boy was related to the meaning of logocentrism. Rodriquez had been studied hard to succeed in his school even though he was not influent with English. While he pushed himself to catch up with other students, he was being apart from his parents. They really disappointed, they thought that he studied hard because he just wanted to get away from doing housework. They had their own reason to be upset with what Rodriquez did; Rodriquez also had his good reason to be that way. Because in order to be good students, people need to study hard, follow all the rules and be out going. Of course they have to be a little far away from their family, if not so they will not have enough time to study as hard as they need to. That is why his idea related to logocentrism because it has the reason, truth, logic and thought into it.
