The Nikko G is a medium flex nib. Most beginners use too much pressure when first writing. These nibs have a lot of "give" to help ease into the process.
Another hurdle for beginners is using a nib that is just too stiff! That makes you have to work even harder to get results.
The Nikko G is crucial to learn how to make nice, thick down strokes and delicate thin strokes.
