Measurement, Statistics, and Research Design
Mission Statement
The focus of the proposed Measurement,
Statistics, and Research Methods informal interest group at Gerontological
Society of America (GSA) is on quantitative research methodology in
gerontology. The specific aims of the group are to: (1) encourage interest

the GSA Annual Meeting. The group plans to organize and sponsor at least one
symposium proposal each year; (3) promote and circulate information on job
opportunities, grant announcements, fellowships and job positions, and
publication opportunities when relevant to the focus of the interest group;
(4) exchange information, discuss, and promote collaboration on recent
developments in measurement, statistics, and research methods in gerontological research among members of the interest
group. |
