The Case for Open Source Software

Welcome to my university home page. I am the Manager of Distributed Education at Portland State University. This means that with a great team of people we provide services to faculty and the university in distributed and online learning pedagogy/andragogy, technology use, multimedia development, video streaming, and course design and implementation. Our services range from faculty development workshops in technology to complete course and product development for the E-learning environment.

I also teach courses in the E-Learning Systems Certificate program through the Graduate School of Education, Continuing Education division. This certificate prepares trainers, teachers, faculty, and administrators to become knowledgeable leaders about the entire system that is necessary for effective E-learning. The series of five courses may be taken for graduate credit or as a non-credit option.
