Principles of Biology (Bi 252). Co-taught with Susan Masta. Part of the introductory sequence for biology majors, covering the diversity and evolution of plants and animals. Winter.

Plant Systematics (Bi 435/535). Basic principles of systematics, as applied to flowering plants. Spring, even years.

Natural History (Bi 472/572). Plant diversity and vegetation of Oregon, including plant identification. Spring, odd years.

Plant Diversity and Evolution (Bi 432/532). Survey of the evolutionary history of green plants, with a focus on morphological innovations. Fall, odd years.

Advanced Topics in Phylogenetics (Bi 410/510). Various specialized topics on phylogenetic methods in systematics, evolution, and ecology. Fall, even years.
