College life is something new to me... [One] has no  
time to think or analyze except study. There is also  
great excitement among the students themselves...  
mental excitement. Old Yale is surrounded with an  
atmosphere of ambition... I never was subject to such  
excitement. I enjoy its influence very much.

else endeavor with indomitable energy and perseverance  
to drive his studies along.
