When you call the sponsors I suggest not demanding that they pull their advertisements but to do the following:
Let them know that the station is getting a massive backlash for promoting violence against bicyclists by it's listeners while driving and with the pending FCC action is begin forced to 'tone down' their show; which is lowering their ratings. Suggest to the advertiser if it is vital for their business to advertise with this station that you understand. Suggest to the sponsor that with the lower ratings and bad press it may be prudent for the sponsor to 'renegotiate' the advertising rates that they currently have with the station.
The reason for this is that the station is loosing money and being pressured even more by the sponsors taking advantage of their crisis. This also gives financial incentive for the sponsor to act, thus getting our point across. Getting a $100,000 sponsor to pull totally from the station would be great .. but getting 10 sponsors to renegotiate for $10,000 less in ads is just the same and helps the sponsor while hurting the station.
NOTE: The Playhouse list 12 other stations that air their morning show on their web page ... when you call the sponsors let them know that it is down to 8.
In other words with in the last year 25 percent of the stations have dropped The Playhouse. Mainly if you call the sponsors letting them know this they will be much more receptive.

American Laser Centers, Portland Office Fill out the sales form and when they contact you give them a piece of your mind. The reason is that eventually the sales people will cautch on that their advert on 95.5 is wasting their time with complaints.
