Diagnostic test in book--listening section; discussion of whole-test strategies.  HW:  1) Finish anlayzing listening, structure reading diagnostic tests; 2) Prepare portfolio--insert analyses, comments, vocabulary; 3) Study book pp. 29-31, 82-83, 98-99 (listening strategies)
Weds, 1/16 Review of whole-test and listening strategies; Listening minitest L15. Introduction to structure strategies; packet structure test A with class discussion and analysis. HW:  1) HW:  1) Read structure strategies pp. 120-122; 2) Do packet structure tests B and C, score and analyze; 3) Read reading strategies pp. 242-246; optional--listening practice L1-L30 (whatever you need to work on)
