Every week we will have a quiz on verbs that require gerunds or infinitives. You need to be able to write sentences using each of the verbs below. Quizzes after the first may include some verbs from previous quizzes, so don't forget what you learned! Also, you will see these on the final exam. The lists below are taken from Focus on GrammarBook 3 (third edition), Appendices 13 - 16 (p. A7).
The following key will help you. For infinitives that take an object, these rules apply in active voice only. Note that passive voice changes the infinitives:

You will need to be able to write both the simple past AND the past
participle
of each verb. Also, spelling is important, so study hard!
