As a lazy villager, Beau is easy to befriend due to the laid-back lifestyle he lives. Beau is down-to-earth, carefree and is somewhat of a glutton. Like all lazy villagers, he shares a love for food, relaxation and sleeping. He usually gets along with normal and peppy villagers, and he offends jock villagers easily, though he doesn't notice it right away. Uchi villagers, on the other hand, remark about how 'cute' he is, while snooty and cranky villagers tend to gossip about him. Beau has a very outdoorsy home that resembles what the player could see in either a park or beach. He has Mountain Song playing on a tape deck, a tree standee in the middle of his home, two mountain standees in front of his wall, a hammock, bird cage, picnic table and a dog house to finish up his home.
