Sites You Cannot Live Without

Chemin de Compostelle - the website for the Miam Miam Dodo Guidebooks; the single most useful reference for route-finding, lodging and other services. There are separate volumes, updated annually, for both the Chemin d' Le Puy and the Chemin d' Arles.  The website here listed includes information from both guides.  See in particular the section titled "Hebergements et services sur les chemins de Saint Jacques."

Confraternity of Saint James - the undisputed champion of all things related to the Camino de Santiago and all it's variants. It includes descriptions of all the routes in France and Spain. Their bookstore carries most of the relevant guidebooks, including the Miam Miam Dodo Guides, and the Confraternity guides written by Alison Raju.

American Pilgrims on the Camino - another comprehensive site which has expanded greatly in recent years, also offers many opportunities to connect with fellow-travelers in the USA.

Les Amis de Saint-Jacques dans le Gers - great example of a local friends group in France in the Departement through which both routes pass.

Way of Saint James - site financed by the European Union, includes practical advice, history, and routes leading to Le Puy from Switzerland.
