Dr. Susan Halverson Westerberg

Susan Halverson Westerberg, Ph.D., is an emeritus associate professor in the Counseling Department and was the coordinator of the Marital, Couple, and Family Counseling Program in the Graduate School of Education at Portland State University.

Dr. Halverson Westerberg received her Ph.D. from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, where she was the director of the New Horizons Family Counseling Clinic. She has had a variety of counseling experiences including professional, couples, marriage and family counseling. Her research interests include counselor development and collaboration between school and family systems.
