Welcome to the course.

ALl course materials will be available through the D2L site for the course.

This course, together with MTH344, is a stepping stone into higher mathematics. They both require a level of abstract reasoning much deeper than what you have probably experienced in  Calculus, Differential Equations, and introductory Linear Algebra classes.

Here are some general comments on the course.

A note on the textbook.  The electronic version of the textbook is free and available from the link above.  You may purchase a printed version from the site for a small fee.  However, you should be aware that we will be making significant improvements to the  exercises during the summer term, hoping to make a revised version available for the fall term.
