The guillotine used at the Nazi prison Ploetzensee, near Berlin, where 3000 people were executed. The inmates were dissidents, not necessarily Jews. From the hooks on the ceiling prisoners were hanged with nooses of piano wire.

Part of Hitler's signed denial of clemency for 17 Ploetzensee prisoners sentenced to death. 13 were women. Families of those executed received a bill for the expenses of the trial, room and board, and the execution - including the stamp to mail the bill.
