Everywhere

Turn it inside out so I can see

The part of you that's drifting over me

And when I wake you're never there

But when I sleep you're everywhere

You're everywhere

Sakura woke with a start from her dream. It had been another one about Syaoran; she missed him so much. It had been several years now since he'd left.

Just tell me how I got this far

Just tell me why you're here and who you are

Cause everytime I look you're never there

And everytime I sleep you're always there

Syaoran had been in her dreams constantly since he had left. He promised to come back, but he hadn't said when. They wrote each other, but neither were good letter writers, and they both were busy much of the time.

Cause you're everywhere to me

And when I close my eyes it's you I see

You're everything I know that makes me believe

I'm not alone

I'm not alone

She wasn't alone exactly. She had her brother, Tomoyo, and all her friends at school. But it wasn't enough. She needed him. Without him it was like part of her was missing.

I recognize the way you make me feel

It's hard to think that you might not be real

I sense it now the water's getting deep

I try to wash the pain away from me

Away from me

She was glad for her friends. At least they didn't push her to forget Syaoran and move on like other people did. Not her father and brother, they sort of understood, but her teachers and kids at school.

Cause you're everywhere to me

And when I close my eyes it's you I see

You're everything I know that makes me believe

I'm not alone

I'm not alone

Pulling her covers over her head, Sakura tried to go back to sleep. It was hard, but not impossible. She groaned when Kero woke her the next morning.

"Sakura, you're going to be late!"

Tomoyo was dragging her to the festival tonight. She didn't really want to go, but she hadn't been given much choice.

I am not alone

Whoa oh ooh oh

Sakura put on the kimono that Tomoyo had made for her. It was cream colored with a cherry blossom pattern. She had a bag that matched and a pair of pink sandals that continued the cherry blossom motif. The girl took the time to clip back her hair with a pair of cherry blossom barrettes. She smiled at her reflection in the mirror. Maybe Tomoyo had gone a little over the top with the cherry blossom theme this time.

And when I touch your hand

It's then I understand

The beauty that's within

It's now that we begin

You always light my way

I hope there never comes a day

No matter where I go

I always feel you so

She walked down the streets observing everyone around her. She saw Yamazaki and Chiharu together laughing. Tomoyo was listening to Naoko's latest ghost story while Rika and Terada-sensei walked togther.

The girl made her way over to a reflecting pool. She sat down on a bench wanting to be alone with her thoughts.

Cause you're everywhere to me

And when I close my eyes it's you I see

You're everything I know that makes me believe

I'm not alone

Cause you're everywhere to me

And when I catch my breath it's you I breathe

You're everything I know that makes me believe

I'm not alone

Someone sat down beside her.

"Do you mind if I sit here?"

"Not here," she muttered; funny, that voice seemed familiar.

Something was dropped into her lap. She looked down to see a pink teddy bear with gold wings. Sakura recognized it; she had made it for Syaoran just before he left. She looked up at her companion's face. Syaoran smiled back at her.

"Are you real?" she said the first thing that came to mind.

"Yes," he replied one of his warm hands covering hers. "And I'm back to stay."

A blinding smile lit Sakura's face as she reached over and hugged him. Syaoran hugged her back happy to finally be home.

You're in everyone I see

So tell me

Do you see me
