At noon today the results of the 2005 ASPSU Elections were announced. Erin Devaney and Molly Woon won for President and Vice President, all our senate candidates were elected, and all our SFC candidates were elected.
Thanks to everyone who took care to vote for our candidates this year. Our win was amazing, and student government will be amazing this coming year. Again, thank you so much, PSU. Now Let's Get To Work!

Thank you for participating in this year's student body elections at PSU. We care very much about this election because we believe that the Associated Students of Portland State University (your student government organization) has the potential to do so much for everyone here.
We can only make this happen with your vote for these candidates on March 7, 8 ,9 & 10! Please explore the site and see who we are. If you have any questions make sure we hear them. We are excited to be your representatives next year!

March 4 -
Erin Devaney and Molly Woon recieve the Vanguard's Endorsement!
|
|
|
Today the DevaneyWoon camapign learned that our executive candidates are the recipients of this year's endorsement from the student paper, The Vanguard.
"For the past three years it has seemed as if there were two student governments: one that dwelled in the gleaming first floor ASPSU office and one that shuffled among crowded offices on the Smith mezzanine.
In order to resolve this unproductive division, student government needs a president that can bridge the gap between the ideas of ASPSU stalwarts and activist student groups. Devaney's SFC work has shown she can do just that and Woon's organizing skills have brought her into contact with many student leaders outside of room 112."
Our campaign is continuing to demonstrate strong support from a variety of groups. Please take a look at our endorsements along the right side of this page. We are proud of every endorsement. Our candidates are eager to begin the work of representing these groups, and all others on campus.
Again, thank you to The Vanguard for their trust in us.

February 24 -
Pledge Campaign getting results.
|

Meaghan Mayeda, candidate for Senator-At-Large, is speaking with students in the Park Blocks about the DevaneyWoon slate and our vision for solving the problems that impact PSU students.
We're asking students to sign our pledge to vote for the DevaneyWoon candidates because doing so helps us demonstrate to other students that a vote for us matters. By signing our pledge, you make our campaign stronger and ensure that your vote will make a big impact on these elections. Thank you for doing everything you can for PSU.

February 24 -
DevaneyWoon Campaign speaking to hundreds in classrooms.
|
|
|
The DevaneyWoon campaign has been invited by PSU professors into over forty classrooms to discuss the important issues of these elections. We believe that these discussions are the most important resource available to student leaders in order to help students feel comfortable making an informed decision on March 7-10.
If we have not come and spoken to any of your classes and you would like us to, please speak with your professor and ask them to invite our presidential candidate to come speak. Send all requests to Erin Devaney at edevaney@pdx.edu.
If we have visited your class and you would like more information or have any feedback for us, we are more than happy to continue this discussion! Please email our candidates or come and speak with them in person at our gold decorated table every afternoon in the Park Blocks. Thank you for everything you do at PSU!
