R.A.M.P Producer: Dean Trandinh
Music Production Project Client: Michaelangelo Anastasiou
Production Plan Date Submitted: 04/09/2006
Project Name: Choral
General Project Description:
Using a Vietnamese vocal music, I will harmonize and
arrange for a mixing choir recording. I will notate
the choral in sheet music, create a midi file with
small orchestra, edit, and create a CD.
Digital Audio Recording, Editing, Mixing component:
I am using KORG N264 keyboard and recording a midi
file at home. I also use Garritan Personal Orchestra
(sound samples), Digital performer, Motu 896 HD, and
two microphones (AKG 100 perception) to record a
separated track for each voicing group (S, A, T, B)
and then do a final mix of all audio tracks. I will
export data as AIFF files and burn to CD using Roxio
toast.
MIDI Sequencing Component:
I will notate and record all tracks by using midi
sequencing in Finale, then import the midi track to
DP.
Computer Assisted Notation Component:
I will notate the orchestra and choir using Finale. I
will provide lead sheets if my client need it, and
take them to Kinko’s for printing.
Physical Product(s):
I will be submitting a labeled audio CD of the choral
music and also a printing choral.
