| Well, i have not been too quick on updating this page... So here we go: This website has a new domain name finally, z4znet.com . This means that you should be viewing this website from http://www.z4znet.com and connecting to the irc network (which is being hosted by an ouside, more reliable partner) at irc.z4znet.com and finally, you can access the ftp at ftp-1.z4znet.com . | 01/23/03 - Zero4Zero IRC Network |
| If you have not been following along in the forums, "Zero4Zero" (the network) is expanding. One of the first things to be done, is implement our own IRCD. Its currently at: zero4zero3.serveftp.com port 6666 to 6670. Please join in and say "hi!" while i continue to test and work out the bugs. For all you mirc users, type "/server -m zero4zero3.serveftp.com" to join the network. There should be a few more ircds up and running soon too. |

| In an effort to stop many of the hack attempts, I have changed the ports to some of the services. Most notable, is the web server on zero4zero2. It is now on port 8008. Please use http://zero4zero2.serveftp.com:8008 for now on. |

| 10/01/02 - New IRC Channel |
| I just recently installed a new web IRC client (CGI:IRC), and it works great! No more donwloading thoes pesky java applets. But a frames compatable browser is required. Other than that? New news? 320 members and growing, with over 7000 logged visits to the server a day. And the ever so popular irc.aniverse.com channel #Zero4Zero set up and moderated by AvatarXavier. Jump in and say hi, and nab some files off of the FServ! |

| 08/29/02 - SQL Server Move |
| Well, i am just appaled that one of my servers (TRIGUN) can not stay connected to the internet for more than 24 hours. Trigun has the most uptime (about 1 reboot a year), but for some reason can not hold its PPPoE connection for any amout of time. So, i guess i am going to move it to the same server as my ftp. The uptime may not be as great (bout 1 reboot a week), but it sure as heck spends more time online! So please hold tight, stay tuned, and i will nip this problem as soon as i can. |

| 08/26/02 - Forums Offline |
| Yeah, I know the forums are offline at the moment. I am contemplating moving the SQL server back to my FTP server, but I just don’t like keeping my eggs all in one basket. So we just have to wait until my SQL server (for now and for ever referred to by its cluster name "Trigun") comes back online before i can review the logs and diagnose the reasons for the outages. The connection to Trigun has been a bit finicky lately, so the server might be just fine. I guess that what you get when you host a server on a residential DSL line... |

| 08/26/02 - FTP Server Ports Change |
| Well, I figure i might as well add an update. I am working on a PHP parser that will allow me to add the updates via a plain text file, but that is still in the works. Anyway, about the servers. As you might have noticed, the SQL server has been quite sparratic lately. I wish i knew what was going on, but i am quite a ways away to go and take a gander at it. Now to the FTP server. The port has changed. I removed all the servers, and the set up the regular server on port 1010. So thats why many of you cannot log on. So switch it up, and have fun. The upload folder is avlible for uploads again. |

| FTP T3 Lines are so hard to come by this day and age. But lo and behold I found one lying around. But i am having some difficulty with the signal, so the bandwidth varies from time to time. So hold tight and hopefully I will get this all sorted out soon! |

| The server has been updated with the latest software. Sorry it took so long. Active Directory does not like being installed on a machine hooked up to multiple networks... Problems, problems problems. The password has changed on the forum account, so make sure to check it. Still no ratio on it. I must be too nice. Check back soon for more development. |
