Research experience for science majors - PSU Capstone

The purpose of this Senior Capstone will be to provide linkages between the student’s academic training in the sciences and the application of this knowledge in the broader community. In particular, students will obtain experience in solving real life problems as future scientists and educated citizens.
Through an initial phase the students will be educated as to the expectations of the proper methods to solve issues presented by our community partners. This initial phase will focus on presentation, documentation, and ethics expected by the community partners and the broader scientific community. The project phase will take place at the community partners. Partners who we have worked with, are: Digimarc, University of Portland, PSU, and OHSU.
