SUMMER TERM 2007
Astronomical League conventions provide an opportunity for
amateur and professional astronomers from all over the country to gather together
to learn and exchange ideas, techniques, and opinions on astronomy. Presentations
by professional astronomers allow the amateur to learn about the latest discoveries
in astronomy directly from astronomers making the discoveries.
Earn one credit while attending this convention.
Registration closes on July 30th, once registered, NO drops will be allowed.
Tuition includes conference fee.
Requirements to earn your 1 credit: Write a report. The report will contain
the following three items: brief synopsis of each of the
day's sessions attended by the student and 2 extended reports on topics presented
at the conference. For undergraduate students it will be 800 words per extended
report, graduate students 1200 words per extended report. Email all in one
document to the instructor.
