Art is art until people find something they like

Alrighty then. Time for the thought of the day:

"One cannot collect all the beautiful shells on the beach."
--Anne Morrow Lindbergh

In lieu of the typical picture of the day, I put up a link to this because of an amazing commercial I saw directed by Spike Jonze. Just today I was just spacing out as usual, when it popped up on TV and really struck a nerve. Something about it struck me as a rare form of beauty... maybe the breathtaking music (sung by Karen O. of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs) helped a little too. Too bad it was sort of ruined by the fact that they were selling a shoe with a computer inside. Now it's weird thinking that a commercial is a medium of art but then again art can be anywhere or anything. I'm not up for much of debate on what is art because this is not my field of expertise per se, although I think art is kind of the thing that if you like a certain piece then you care about it, if not you shouldn't spend two more seconds thinking anymore about it because there is better things to do in life than put down someone's work. Just my two and a half cents.

Spectacular Adidas Commerical

Now after you've seen that aren't you just pining to get that song. Well I had a heck of time finding it but luckily I tracked it down just for you my loyal fans. As I mentioned before the song is sung by Karen O. of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, written by Squeak E. Clean, and is called "Hello Tomorrow". The quality is so so as it is probably ripped from the commercial itself. Enjoy!
