Physical Scientist, Student Career Employee Program (SCEP), Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Park, CA (10/03 – 09/05)

Field Research Technician, Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) Program, McMurdo Dry Valleys, Antarctica (10/04 - 12/04)
- Assisted with mass balance measurement of glaciers and the maintenance of weather stations throughout Taylor Dry Valleys.

Physical Science Technician, Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Park, CA (5/01- 9/03)
 - Worked as a Lead Air Quality Technician to operate and maintain air quality monitoring devices designed to measure ozone, particulate matter, visibility, precipitation chemistry, UV, meteorology. Responsible for the collection of snow and water samples.

Biological Science Technician, Joshua Tree National Park, CA
 - Operated an air quality monitoring station, conducted abandoned mine reclamation surveys and mine safety projects, and managed a mine inventory GIS database.

 - Field Supervisor and Fire Recovery Project Lead for the desert tortoise (Gopherus aggassizii) program conducting survey transects, managing field data, and supervising field crews and volunteers. (7/99 -10/00)

 - Conducted desert tortoise population surveys using line distance transects and radio telemetry. Data collection included animal health, location, and habitat.

 - Organized projects with various land management agencies in an effort to address the impacts from rapidly growing recreation. Projects included mapping wilderness access and resources with GPS, outdoor education programs, trail work, and community projects.
