Course information

  •  Syllabus.  (posted 1/6/23, revised 1/23/2023 for week 3-4 change)
  • Although the syllabus shows chapters corresponding to the Brownlow book, in reality I have drawn as much or more lecture content from a variety of books. Here is a list of geochemistry books you may find useful.  (posted 1/6/23)
  • By popular demand, we will be switching classrooms to CH69, starting this coming Monday 1/23. (posted 1/20/23)
  • I am making a schedule change in Weeks 3-4 to give us time to discuss stable isotopes before the due date of Problem set 1. Problem set 1 and Exam 1 will occur one class period later than originally planned.  For revised Week 3-4 schedule, see here.  (posted 1/23/2023)
  • Hello class, owing to PSU snow closure I am moving the time of Midterm 2 to our usual class period from tomorrow Friday 2/24 to Monday 2/27.  (posted 2/23/2023)
