I teach the following courses at PSU:

EC 201 - Principles of Microeconomics
EC 338U - Political Economy of Latin American Development
EC 440/540 - International Trade Theory and Policy

EC 441/541 - International Monetary Theory and Policy

You can access a syllabus (in pdf format) for the last term I taught the class by clicking on the course name.

I have developed web materials for all of my courses. For this purpose I use webCT the platform for delivery of course web materials used at PSU. My courses' webpages generally include a discussion forum, online homeworks and/or examinations, readings or other visual materials. I taught for several years before joining PSU . Between 1998 and 2001 I was at Eastern Mediterranean University in North Cyprus where I taught introductory courses in macro and micro, intermediate micro, international trade, labor economics, development and Latin American political economy. Prior to Cyprus I taught introductory courses at Austin Community College in Austin, Texas and at the University of Texas at Austin. For a couple of years I also worked as an academic mentor for the Women's Athletics program at UT-Austin.

I received the John Eliot Allen Outstanding Teaching Award in Economics for the 2003-2004 academic year.
