Attendance policies

If you are more than 10 minutes late, you will be marked absent. However, please attend class even if you are late.
There are no excused absences.
More than 2 days of absence for Tuesday/Thursday classes and more than 3 days of absence for Monday/Wednesday/Friday classes will result in your final grade being lowered ten percentage points (e.g. 92% -10 = 82%). (Please refer to GRADES.)
More than 2 weeks of absence may result in your failing the course.
If you are absent, you are responsible for the information covered in class. Please get the telephone number of a classmate upon whom you can depend to get handouts for you and give you information if you are absent.
Late homework will only be accepted if you are absent, and hand it in on the SAME day that you return to class.
No make-up tests or classwork will be accepted.
